What was the project about

For a history and english class combination, we learned about an african american person for black history month. I focused on the Little Rock Nine and one of the girls in the nine. The Little Rock Nine were a group of African Amercian students that were offered the chance to go to an all white school. On their first day they were harrased by white parents and were banned from the school. However, this did not stop these nine from trying to attend an all white school. I focused on Melba Pattillo Beals, one of these students. I wrote a newspaper article, collage, poem, quiz, and diary entries all about her. Hope you enjoy.
